I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question. The following information has been provided to me
by the Minister for Corrective Services. The Department of Justice advises as
follows.
(1) Lot 586 in
Broome Road Industrial Park is the current preferred site. Consultation with
the Shire of Broome, the Nyamba Buru Yawuru community and relevant stakeholders
is planned or ongoing.
(2) Costings will be determined as
part of a future budget submission.
(3) Delivery time lines will be
determined following final project approval.
