1200. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the
minister representing the Minister for Environment:
(1) What work
has been done by the minister's department or any other agency to
monitor the effectiveness and/or implementation of the Wellington National
Park, Westralia Conservation Park and Wellington Discovery Forest management
plan 2008?
(2) Have the results of this work been published—for
example, in the form of annual reports?
(3) If no to (2), will the minister table the results of this
monitoring?
(4) Does the minister plan to review the management plan?
(5) If yes to (4), when and by what process?

I thank the member for some notice of the question.
(1) The former
Conservation Commission of Western Australia published a report on 8 March 2016
that contains a review and analysis of the key performance indicators of the
Wellington National Park, Westralia Conservation Park and Wellington Discovery
Forest management plan 2008.
(2) The report
is publicly available through the Conservation and Parks Commission, and I table
a copy of the report for the member's weekend reading.
