VIOLENT OFFENDERS —
BAIL AND SUPERVISION ORDER RELEASE — PREMIER'S COMMENTS
652. Mr R.S. LOVE to the Premier:
I have a supplementary question. It
is clear that the Premier's government is mishandling the justice
system. Why is the Premier prioritising the freedom of perpetrators over
community safety?
The SPEAKER : Before I give
the Premier the call, Leader of the Opposition, you, again, as the member for
Vasse often does, gave a statement before
asking your supplementary. An introduction to a question is permitted, but not to
a supplementary question. I ask you in future to just ask the question, which
was the second part of what you said.

We are clearly not doing as the
Leader of the Opposition suggests. It is a preposterous suggestion and one that
does him no credit.
