DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENT and CONSERVATION — USE OF GOOGLE MAPS
I ask this question on behalf of Hon Sally Talbot who has left the chamber on urgent parliamentary business. I refer the minister to the Department of Environment and Conservation’s use of Google mapping services on its campgrounds website. (1) Is the minister aware of concerns regarding mapping errors and omissions in the labelling of Western Australia’s many national parks on these maps? (2) If yes to (1), what alternatives are under investigation to address the inadequacies of the current mapping system? Hon HELEN MORTON
