(1) Will the Minister please advise of the bed count and individual services offered to patients at each of the following Older Adult Mental Health Services (OAMHS) locations: (a) Joondalup OAMHS; (b) Osborne Park OAMHS; (c) Selby OAMHS; (d) Swan Elderly Mental Health Service; and (e) Inner City OAMHS? (2) For each of the clinics listed above, can the Minister please advise of the number of staff by position, for the following periods: (a) 2013-2014; (b) 2012-2013; and (c) 2011-2012? (3) What is the average patient case load for each case worker located at each of the listed clinics for each of the following periods: (a) 2013-2014; (b) 2012-2013; and (c) 2011-2012?

(1) Services comprise a multidisciplinary team providing psychiatric and medical interventions, a wide range of general and mental health nursing assessments, support across inpatient and community clinics, social work services and liaison, occupational therapy functional assessment and rehabilitation, physiotherapy assessment and treatment.
(a) Joondalup Older Adult Mental Health Services (OAMHS) - Community Clinic
· Nil beds.
· Community based assessment and management.
· 'Mobile' day therapy service.
(b) Osborne Park OAMHS - Inpatient Unit & Community Clinic
· 24
inpatient beds (not authorised under Mental Health Act (MHA) 1996).
· Therapy services: inreach to inpatients and community patients.
· Community based assessment and management.
· Consultation liaison to inpatients in Osborne Park Hospital.
· Carer Support and Education Service: Program wide service to provide additional support and advocacy to carers of current clients of the services. Provides psycho-educational groups to a wider cohort of carers.
(c) Selby OAMHS - Inpatient Unit & Community Clinic
· 32 inpatient beds (authorised under MHA 1996).
· Therapy services: inreach to inpatients and community patients.
· Community based assessment and management.
· Consultation liaison based at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital (SCGH) to inpatients of SCGH.
(d) Swan Elderly MHS - Inpatient Unit & Community Clinic
· 16 inpatient beds (authorised under MHA 1996).
· Therapy services: inreach to inpatients and community patients.
· Community based assessment and management.
· Consultation liaison to inpatients of Swan District Hospital.
(e) Inner City OAMHS - Community Clinic
· Nil beds. Medical inreach service provided to Ursula Frayne Unit (Mercy Hospital, Mount Lawley - 12 bed authorised inpatient unit) by Inner City OAMHS.
· Community based assessment and management.
· Consultation liaison to Mercy Hospital.

Case workers are specific to Community Mental Health, and thus, the information provided is specific to Older Adult Community Mental Health. Case workers may however provide inreach to inpatient units to ensure integration of care. Case work falls under Nursing Services and Medical Support Services categories. Medical staff provide supervision to all patients and do not specifically manage a case load and hence are not included in the number of case workers identified above.
