Department of the Premier and Cabinet advises:
(1a-f) Department of the Premier and Cabinet contracted, via an open tender process, its total internal audit function in each of those years.
For the years ended 30 June in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 the Department's audits also included service areas of the Office of Native Title, Office of Crime Prevention, Office of Science and Innovation and the Office of Water Strategy.
For the years ended 30 June in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 the Department's audits included the Office of Multicultural Interests.
(2) Stanton Partners for years ended 30 June 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. Stantons International for year ended 30 June 2007.
(3) The total cost was $375,723.19
(4) The Department has a contract with Stantons International to cover internal audit services for 2007-08.
(5) The estimated value of the 2007-2008 internal audit services is approx. $146,500. This does not include approx. $60,000 in works carried out in 2006-2007 but paid for in 2007-2008.
