I refer to the 65-day rule for the turn-around of mining licence applications, and ask:
(a) what is the total number of applications that have been dealt with since the introduction of the rule in April 2009;
(b) as at 1 September 2010, how many applications have not been dealt with within 65 days; and
(c) as at 1 September 2010, what percentage of applications has not been dealt with within 65 days?

(a) There is no tenement type known as a "mining licence" however there is a tenement type called a mining lease and please refer to the answer to Parliamentary Question 3938.
