MENTAL
HEALTH COMMISSION — EFFICIENCY DIVIDEND
618. Hon LJILJANNA RAVLICH to the Minister for Mental
Health:
I refer to the $76.8 million
efficiency dividend for the Mental Health Commission over the forward
estimates, of which $10.4 million needs to be found in 2012–13.
(1) Can the minister advise the
house where she intends to make savings in the mental health portfolio?
(2) Has the
Mental Health Commission submitted its plan to Treasury on how to meet the
efficiency dividend; and, if not, when will it be submitted?
(3) Will the
minister commit to tabling the plans to make savings in the mental health
portfolio; and, if not, why not, given the government's commitment to
transparency?
