It has come to my attention that the Redlion Bus and Coach Company in Esperance may be allowing employees to operate a forklift without a ticket, and I ask: (a) does the Minister know if the company is allowing this to occur; (b) if yes or no to (a), how does the Minister know this; and (c) if yes to (a): (i) does it constitute a breach of any contractual arrangements between the company and the Department of Transport; (ii) what are the breaches and penalty for each breach; (iii) who in the company is responsible for the breaches; and (iv) what action will the Minister take to rectify the breaches?

Insofar as the Public Transport Authority (PTA) is concerned, the PTA has a contract with Redlion Bus and Coach to operate intra-town school bus services. This question has been answered in that context.
(a)  No.
(b)  Staff related matters are the responsibility of the contracted service provider.
(c)(i)-(iv) Not applicable
