Economic Regulation Authority
4. Hon Dr Steve Thomas to the parliamentary
secretary representing the Treasurer:
I refer to the
Economic Regulation Authority's role in applying the new facilities investment
test to government procurement.
(1) Is the ERA assessing proposed developments
from the Clean Energy Link projects overseen by the Department of Energy and
Economic Diversification with a new facilities investment test?
(2) If no to (1), why not and has the ERA been sidelined
for new renewable energy projects?
(3) If yes to (1), what new facilities investment test
assessments have been completed on which of the government's clean energy
projects?
(4) Which of those reports in (3) are publicly
available and will the Treasurer please table all those reports?
