The Minister Replied:
Agriculture WA
(a) Agriculture WA does not plan to relocate any of their Perth offices.
(b-f) N/A.
Fisheries WA
(a) At present there are no plans for the relocation of any Fisheries offices.
(b) N/A.
(c) I am advised that Fisheries WA has undertaken some preliminary enquiries in establishing an office in Rockingham. However, such an initiative will be dependent on a review of the Metropolitan regional operations and confirmation that the establishment of a Fisheries Office in Rockingham is justified.
(d) N/A.
(e-f) I would be happy to have the Executive Director of Fisheries WA facilitate initial discussions with the Rockingham City Council in respect to future planning and the potential to establish an operational office in Rockingham.
