I refer to Budget Paper No. 2, Volume 1 at page 129 "Appropriations, Expenses and Cash Assets", line item "delivery of services", and in relation to the Government’s commitment in 2013-14 to appoint an additional 100 community health nurses, and I ask: (a) how many were appointed in 2012-13; (b) where are they located; (c) how many will be appointed in 2013-14; (d) where will they be located; and (e) in relation to the balance of the community child health nurses, when will they be appointed, on what basis and where will they be located?

(a) 16 FTE.
(b) Child health nurses are located at Child Health Centres in the regions of Valley and Hills, Wungong, Neerabup, Jackadder Lake, Peel and Fremantle.
(c) 37.5 FTE.
(d) 2.5 FTE of nurses have commenced so far in 2013/14. These child health nurses are located in the regions of Riverlands, Canning and Cockburn.
The remaining 35 FTE will commence from January 2014.
This will be the substantive part of this commitment.
The locations for these nurses are yet to be confirmed.
(e) The remainder of the child health nurses will be appointed over the duration of the budget commitment by July 2016. The locations of these nurses are yet to be confirmed.
