I refer to an article in The
Weekend West about the 13 break-ins at Tranby Primary School in Rivervale,
and subsequent advice received by the principal, Mr Mark Burns, that a security
fence would be erected by August 2014.
(1) Can the government confirm that the security fence
contract has gone out to tender?
(2) Can the
government confirm that the security fence will be erected by August 2014 as
per advice to the principal?

proposal to erect a perimeter security fence at Tranby Primary School has been
submitted for planning approval.
(2) Dependent
on the planning approval outcome, it is anticipated that the perimeter security
fence will be completed by 31 August 2014.
