Attorney General representing the Minister for Corrective Services:
I refer to the
Department of Finance's ''Procurement Practice Guide''
and procedures for dealing with open tender exemptions. Since 1 October 2013 —
(1) How many open tender exemptions have
been approved by a Corrective Services' accountable authority?
(2) On what date was each exemption approved?
(3) What was the name of the individual,
organisation or entity procured to provide a service following approval of each
open tender exemption?
(4) How many open
tender exemptions have been approved by the Department of Finance?
(5) On what date was
each Department of Finance–approved exemption approved?
(6) What was the name of the individual,
organisation or entity procured to provide a service following each Department
of Finance–approved open tender exemption?

the honourable member for some notice of the question. The Department of
Corrective Services has advised that information regarding tender exemptions is
not recorded in a manner that is easily retrievable. The minister asks that the
