For each agency, department and GTE within the Minister’s portfolio of responsibilities outside of the Attorney General portfolio, refer to the answer provided in Legislative Assembly Question on Notices 1434, 1435, 1441, 1445, and 1447.

(bi) $3,240,041.52 (GST inclusive)
(bii-v) The Department of Justice (the Department) has contracted three companies to provide private charter flights across Western Australia (WA).
The purposes of the private charter flights are to transport prisoners/detainees in the custody of the Department, escorted by custodial officers; and to transport Judicial Officers (including Magistrates and Judges) and Judicial Support staff to attend Court Regional Circuits throughout the year. WA Police, including police prosecutors and police auxiliary officers, Corrective Services staff including Adult Community Corrections and Youth Justice Services, Legal Aid WA, Aboriginal Legal Service of WA and legal representatives may also travel on the private charter flight to attend court circuits.
