1213. Hon LOUISE KINGSTON to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Health:
With
the ongoing issue of insufficient aged-care beds and National Disability
Insurance Scheme facilities in regional areas, I ask that the minister
provide the following.
(1) How many
aged-care patients awaiting placement in aged-care facilities are occupying
acute beds in Albany Health Campus and Bunbury Regional Hospital, and how long
have they been there?
(2) How many NDIS patients awaiting placement in
suitable facilities are occupying acute beds in Albany Health Campus and
Bunbury Regional Hospital, and how long have they been there?
(3) How many
times has surgery been cancelled at each hospital in the past six months, given
no bed has been available for patients post-surgery?
