The newly created Professional Standards and Conduct Division is headed by an Executive Director. Two Directorates, the Audit and Risk Management the other Standards and Integrity, have been created. The Professional Standards and Conduct Division was not established under the supervision of Justice Neville Owen as this was not part of his role. The Standards and Integrity Directorate will assess all matters referred to it. Internal investigation teams, two with child protection expertise will investigate alleged serious misconduct. These teams will oversee investigations of less serious matters that may be conducted at the local level. (2) Protected disclosures, alleged misconduct including sexual and physical contact with students, unresolved complaints and other suggestions and complaints will be dealt with by the Standards and Integrity Directorate. (3) Typically, grievances complaints about working conditions, alleged breaches of public sector standards, complaints about service provision and minor local-level complaints.
