920. Hon ROBIN CHAPPLE to the Minister
for Aboriginal Affairs:
I refer to the departures of Mr
Aaron Rayner and Ms Kathryn Przywolnik from the Department of Aboriginal
Affairs.
(1) What was the reason these
individuals left the DAA?
(2) Did they leave of their own
volition?
(3) Was a payout associated with
either individual's departure from the DAA?
(4) If yes to (3), why?
(5) How much did each individual
receive?

I thank the honourable member for
some notice of the question.

Department of Aboriginal Affairs undertook a review of the heritage directorate
and its functions. The outcome of that review, and the impending changes,
resulted in staff leaving the agency.
(2)–(3) Yes.
(4)–(5) Each
received amounts in accordance with their individual employment arrangements
with the department.
