(b) 1,946 Head Count (on Permanent and Fixed Terms Contracts).
(c) 1,736 FTE*.

Figures advised in (a) and (b) above exclude Staff currently on Secondment to other organisations.
Figures advised in (c) above are taken from the last Pay Reporting Cycle ending 13/11/08 and represent actual employee usage in FTE terms. This excludes employees on secondment to other organisations and employees currently on leave without pay.

The Department for Communities includes the Office for Women's Policy, the Office for Youth and the Office for Multicultural Interests.
The total for the whole Department is as follows:
(a) 244 FTE
(b) 304 "head count"
(c) 270 "actively engaged"
In respect to the Minister for Communities the totals are:
