(1) Has an agreement been reached with the City of Swan in relation to the relocation of the Water Corporation Treatment Plant and/or changing the treatment process to reduce the buffer around the Plant to allow an Aged Care Facility in Ballajura to proceed? (2) Will the State Government assist in covering the costs associated with changes to the treatment plant, to allow the aged care facility to proceed?

(1) The City of Swan has requested that the Water Corporation proceed with the planning and the calling of a Design and Construct tender. Once the costs of the works are known the City of Swan will determine whether to enter into an agreement with the Corporation to undertake the relocation.
(2) Should the City of Swan decide to proceed with the relocation of the facility, the Water Corporation will make a contribution equal to the value of works already committed to upgrade the current facility.
