The Western Australia Police advise due to operational sensitivities, specific information relating to staffing levels of individual police stations is not released. Resources are principally allocated at a District level and District Superintendents deploy these resources within their District to provide the best possible policing service to meet operational requirements and the varying needs of the community.
(a) At 30 June 2011 the approved police officer strength for South Metropolitan District was 278.5
(b) At 30 June 2011 the actual police officer strength for South Metropolitan District was 266
