To answer this question would require a survey to be completed by all schools. Due to the extensive resource impost this request would place on schools, a survey has not been undertaken.
Western Australian government schools are required to comply with the Financial Management Act 2006 and Treasurer’s Instruction (TI), including TI 323 Timely Payment of Accounts. The Office of the Auditor General regularly conducts school-based audits to monitor compliance with these financial requirements. The most recent audit has not identified any issues with payments of accounts.
