I refer to the Public Transport Authority’s (PTA) rollingstock, and ask: (a) How many persons were charged with trespass on PTA rollingstock by the Western Australian Police
Force for each of the years 2015, 2016, 2017, and to 1 July 2018; (b) How many persons were charged by the Western Australian Police Force for committing acts of
vandalism, including graffiti, on PTA rollingstock for each of the years 2015,
2016, 2017, and to 1 July 2018; and (c) How many persons were successfully prosecuted by the courts for the acts of trespass and
vandalism on PTA rollingstock for each of the years 2015, 2016, 2017, and to 1 July 2018?

The Public Transport Authority (PTA) does not retain a record of charges that are laid by WA Police for acts of trespass or vandalism on PTA rollingstock and is not advised the outcome of any prosecutions that result from those charges.
For instances of the PTA charging people for trespass and vandalism offenses on its property and of people being successfully prosecuted as a result of those charges during the periods outlined in the members question, please refer to the following table.
