1. The Public Transport Authority has identified a preliminary route from the existing Mandurah line at Anketell Road to Blair Street in Bunbury. However, more work is needed to determine the best route north of Pinjarra to access the Perth CBD as it is anticipated there will be insufficient train paths in future to accommodate Bunbury services without compromising regular Mandurah line services. Given the long term nature of this proposal, work is progressing gradually as priorities allow. There is currently no funding or timeframe committed for the proposal.
2. $965 735 in funding has been spent on the proposal to date.
