NUCLEAR INDUSTRY — WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT
1107. Hon Dr BRAD PETTITT to the parliamentary secretary
representing the Minister for Training:
I
refer to a recent trip to the United Kingdom, where the minister held meetings
with the newly established Nuclear Skills Taskforce in London.
(1) Does the
minister foresee a role for Western Australia in the United Kingdom's
growing nuclear industry; and, if so, what is that role?
(2) If no to (1), what was the
purpose of the minister's meeting with the Nuclear Skills Taskforce?
(3) Will the minister
please table details, including minutes, attendee lists and any associated
documents, of the meeting with the Nuclear Skills Taskforce?
(4) If no to (3), why not?
