I refer to the post by ABC Kimberley announcing job losses at the Port of Broome, available at https://www.facebook.com/ABCKimberley/posts/10158289997257156 , in relation to the Kimberley Marine Supply Base (KMSB), and I ask: (a) what roles have been lost at the port this year to date: (i) of those jobs in (a), how many were full-time positions; (ii) of those jobs in (a), how many were part-time positions; and (iii) of those jobs in (a), how many were casual positions; (b) will the Minister please table the 'extensive review' of the Authority's revenue and cost base, referred to by Mr. Craig Faulkner, that influenced the decision to cut staff: (i) if no to (b), why not; (c) has pay to the Board of Directors been considered for reduction, in lieu of reducing jobs; (d) has pay to the Chief Executive Officer(s) (CEO) been considered for reduction, in lieu of reducing jobs: (i) has the Government considered reducing the CEO hours of work; (e) if no to (c) and/or (d), why not; and (f) does the current economic situation, as demonstrated by the job losses at the Port, make it less likely that the KMSB project will go ahead as planned: (i) if no to (f), will the Minister please explain the manner in which the project is expected to deviate from the original plan; and (ii) if no to (f), has the KMSB provided a revised business case for the project: (A) if yes to (f)(ii), will the Minister please provide the document? (B) if no to (f)(ii), will the Minister request a revised business case? (C) if no to (f)(ii)(B), why not?

I do not accept the premise of the member’s question. There have been redundancies at Kimberley Ports Authority but these are not related to Kimberley Marine Supply Base (KMSB).
