MEEKATHARRA SCHOOL OF THE AIR
I refer to the feasibility study into the location requirements of the School of the Air currently situated at Meekatharra, which was commenced in May. (1) Has the minister received the report? (2) If not, when does she expect to receive it; and when will a decision be made? Hon LJILJANNA RAVLICH

(1) No. (2) I have instructed one of my ministerial advisers to accompany the acting director of facilities from the Department of Education and Training on a visit to the site of the Meekatharra School of the Air, which I understand has burnt down, to inspect the facility and provide me with a first-hand report of the situation. I expect to receive the feasibility study in the next few weeks. I want Mr Mal Parr and an officer from my office to have a first-hand look at this matter.
