ALCOA REFINERY WAGERUP — NEW WORKS
I refer to the recent application W4985/2-11/1 for a new works approval at the Alcoa Wagerup refinery and the planned expansion of the residue storage area. (1) Has any work started in preparation for the expansion of the residue storage area? (2) If yes to (1), what work has commenced? (3) If yes to (1), has a works approval been granted? (4) If no to (3), has the minister or the department given consent to any minor or preliminary work under section 41A(3) of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 prior to the granting of a works approval?
