SCHOOL FEES — VOLUNTARY CONTRIBUTIONS
I refer to the matter of school fees. (1) Will the minister advise the most current annual figure for the amount of revenue raised from voluntary contributions—not extra-cost optional contributions—for students in years K to 7 and 8 to 10? (2) What is the most current figure for the amount of revenue raised from compulsory course charges for students in years 11 and 12? (3) Do the figures provided in answer to parts (1) and (2) allow for the government subsidy, and are they therefore the total amount due from parents? (4) What is the total value of the government subsidy for the same period? Hon KIM CHANCE

(3) The figures provided in answer to parts (1) and (2) do not include the government’s $100 subsidy. (4) $8 356 200.
