I refer to property/asset management services for the Office of the Premier and Cabinet, and ask: (a) what amount has been paid to property managers for property management services for the Office of the Premier and Cabinet for each financial year 2012–2013; 2013–2014 and 1 July 2014 to date; (b) which companies have provided property management services for the Office of the Premier and Cabinet and for what periods of time; (c) what specific property management services at the Office are undertaken by the property managers; and (d) what

The property management services provided can be categorised as follows:
Building/Estate Management
In controlling the operation of the building, the property manager's duties include but are not limited to:
·
procuring and managing all building maintenance and security contracts;
·
liaising with the building tenants in relation to all aspects of the building's operations;
·
provision of services for breakdown repairs;
and
·
preparing monthly management reports addressing all pertinent issues.
Financial Management
The property manager:
·
maintains a trust account for the collection of revenue from the tenant and is responsible for paying all operating expenses associated with the building;
and
·
provides a monthly financial report incorporating relevant financial information to the Department of Finance.
(d)
The property management services for the Office of the Premier and Cabinet Room are not individually itemised.
However, Jones Lang LaSalle (WA) Pty Ltd estimates that approximately 75 per cent of its time is spent on building/estate management related activities, and approximately 25 per cent spent on financial management activities.
