I thank the member for some notice of this question. On behalf of the Minister for Women’s Interests, I am happy to provide the response. (1)-(3) The Department of Health has already agreed to provide $58 000 to be used to establish a long-term funding plan for the centre. That will be seed funding so that it may develop a sustainable future and not be entirely reliant on government funding. The Office for Women’s Policy provides around $150 000 annually in one-off grants to women’s organisations. This benefits many of the women’s organisations that operate in Western Australia. The office has provided funding to the centre for various projects over the years and will consider further funding on a project basis as opportunities arise.
