I refer to new redeployment and redundancy arrangements for the Western Australian public sector that came into effect this year, and I ask: (a) how many employees have been offered and accepted voluntary severance under the new regulations; (b) for each employee: (i) for which department or agency did the employee work prior to termination; and (ii) what was the title or position of the employee prior to termination; (c) What is the breakdown of the total amount outlined in (a) in terms of: (i) gender; and (ii) age profile; and (d) how many employees have been offered and not accepted voluntary severance?

The Public Commission advises
(a) Data entered by public sector agencies on the Recruitment and Advertising Management System (RAMS) indicates that between 1 May 2015 and 25 August 2015, one hundred and fifty four (154) employees have been offered and accepted a voluntary severance under the new Regulations and have left their employment.
(b) Refer to Attachment A. See tabled paper.
(c) Refer to Attachment B.  See tabled paper.
(d) Data entered into RAMS indicates that since 1 May 2015 one employee was offered and did not accept a voluntary severance.
