Regarding the progress of recommendations made in the report of the ministerial committee for lesbian and gay law reform, I ask - (1) Is the Commissioner for Equal Opportunity adequately resourced to undertake community education initiatives to inform the wider community that discrimination on the ground of sexual orientation is unlawful? (2) If no to (1), when will the commissioner be adequately resourced? (3) Has the Commissioner for Equal Opportunity undertaken any community education initiatives to inform the wider community that discrimination on the grounds of sexual orientation is unlawful? (4) If yes to (3), have these initiatives included publications, workshops and training sessions? (5) If yes to (3), will the minister please provide details of these initiatives?
