(1) The community group, JMH Action Group has written to the Minister with their concern at the proposal to link Jackson Road in Karawara, Murray and Henley Streets in Como. When does the Minister propose to respond to that letter?
(2) What input has the department had into the proposal and what advice has been given to Main Roads and other agencies; and
(a) will the Minister table that information; and
(i) if not, why not?
(3) Is the Minister aware that a proposal to link the roads was rejected in 1991 by the then local authority the City of Perth?
(4) What planning factors have changed since 1991 for the Minister to be considering the proposal again?

(2) The Department of Planning has been involved in preliminary investigations which have been undertaken in consultation with the Department of Transport.
(a) No.
(i) The investigations are preliminary and still ongoing.
(3) Yes.
(4) Population growth pressures necessitate consideration of improved road network and transport options.
