NATIONAL DISABILITY INSURANCE SCHEME — MY
WAY TRIAL — HOUSING SUPPORT
97. Hon SALLY TALBOT to the Minister for
Disability Services:
How many people, as a percentage of
the total, in each of the My Way trials being run by the state government are
in receipt of housing support?

AnswerView source ↗

I thank the member for some notice
of this question.
Data on the number of people who
reside in public housing is not collected in the Western Australian NDIS My Way
trial areas by the Disability Services Commission. As of 31 December 2015, of
the 1 590 current plans with funding, 150 people with disability are receiving
funding for disability services that enable them to live in their houses. I am
informed that the other 1 440 people with funded plans received community
access, therapy services, respite and a variety of other funding.
Hon Sally Talbot : That doesn't answer the question.
Do you want to take the question back?
Hon HELEN MORTON : No, I am happy with that answer.
