I refer to the Minister's answer to Question on Notice 7055 in which the Minister states that the total number of people associated with the wait list as at 1 January 2012 has decreased by 1,819 from the previous wait list of 53,050, and I ask:
(a) what is the current wait list as a total number of applicants as at 29 February 2012;
(b) what is the total number of people associated with the wait list as at 29 February 2012;
(c) what is the total number of children and dependents associated with the wait list as at 29 February 2012;
(d) what is the current wait list as a total number of applicants per region as at 29 February 2012;
(e) what is the total number of people associated with the wait list per region as at 29 February 2012; and
(f) what is the total number of children and dependents associated with the wait list by region as at 29 February 2012?

The Department of Housing advises:
(a) As at 29 February 2012 there were 23,259 applicants on the waiting list.
(b) As at 29 February 2012, there were 51,775 people associated with the waitlist.
(c) 23152 children and dependents ( as at 29 February 2012). (Includes dependent children, adult nondependent children and shared custody children).
(d) Waitlist by applications per district ( as at 29 February 2012)
