(1) The Department currently has 182 rental properties in the locality of Forrestfield. The Shire of Kalamunda Rates Section advises that there are currently 3,505 dwellings overall in Forrestfield. This reflects a 5.19% public housing presence in Forrestfield.
(2) The Department is considering possible extension of its successful Urban Renewal program to Forrestfield. The Department would pursue a combination of redevelopment, refurbishment and sale of properties.
(3) The Department's public housing presence in Forrestfield is not expected to increase over time.
