(1) Will the Minister advise how many teachers and other staff were employed at Eastern Goldfields Senior High School as at -
(a) 1996;
(b) 1997;
(c) 1998;
(d) 1999
(e) February 2000; and
(f) July 2000?
(2) As to 1(f), will the Minister specify which campus each teacher and other staff member is employed at and where it is both campuses?
(3) Will the Minister advise what extra staff have been employed as a result of representations made during 1999 by the school council or others?
(4) Will the Minister advise what extra staff have been employed at District Office in relation to Eastern Goldfields Senior High School?
(5) Will the Minister advise what extra staff have been or will be employed as a result of the co-location adoption?
(6) Will the Minister advise what is the anticipated staffing level for 2001 and specify which campus each staff member will be employed at?

Non-teaching staff: 1 employed at Curtin Campus, 1 employed at both campuses, the remainder of non-teaching staff are employed at the Middle School.
(3) 1 extra FTE has been employed at Eastern Goldfields Senior High School in the area of Youth Support.
(4) 1 extra FTE has been employed at the Goldfields Education District Office in relation to Eastern Goldfields Senior High School as a Local Area Education Planning Officer.
(5) The following extra staff have been employed as a result of the co-location adoption;
· 1 FTE - to the Local Area Education Planning Unit
· 1 FTE to Mathematics
· 2.3 FTE to allow for travel between the two campuses.
(6) The anticipated staffing allocation for 2001 is 85.89 FTE. This is based on the estimated enrolment numbers provided by the school. Additionally, 0.10FTE will be allocated for every teacher required to travel between the two school sites. This allocation cannot be determined until the school timetable is finalised.
Until the school timetable is finalised information relating to the deployment of staff across the two campuses cannot be provided.
(7) The average length of teaching experience of teachers at Eastern Goldfields Senior High School is 5.73 teaching years.
(8) Professional development at Eastern Goldfields Senior High School is provided through;
· School Development Days;
· after hours professional development in curriculum areas; and
· applications to the Professional Development Committee at school level as per the process outlined in the School Development Plan.
(9) Any additional support deemed necessary is provided from within the total staffing allocation to the school and is at the discretion of the principal.
