On behalf of the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Lands, I thank the member for some notice of this question. (1)-(2) The government is committed to stage 1 of the Bunbury waterfront project, which includes $3.5 million for the jetty, provided stage 1 of the waterfront project remains cost neutral. The $3.5 million for the jetty cannot be released by LandCorp until there is certainty that approvals will be received for stage 1. Therefore, timing of works is unknown at this stage. The jetty is currently the responsibility of the City of Bunbury and the city can progress work to the jetty with its own committed $3.5 million or with alternative funding sources at any time.
