I refer to the plans for the new Western Australian Museum and ask: (a) how much exhibition space is at the current, city-based museum; (b) how much additional space is planned for the new museum; (c) what was originally planned for the lower basement in the early designs of the new museum; (d) did the original plans for the lower basement include any exhibition space, if so, how much; and (e) if yes to (d), has that exhibition space been relocated elsewhere in the design, or has exhibition space declined from earlier designs?

(a) The former WA Museum – Perth site had approximately 2,400 square metres of exhibition space.
