FARINA to the Minister for Mental Health:
I refer to the answer to question on notice 5192 asked by Hon Ljiljanna Ravlich concerning suicides.
(1) Of the 29
suicides in Bunbury during 2010–11 —
(a) what is
the gender breakdown;
(b) how many
of these were —
(i) under the
age of 18 years;
(ii) between
the age of 18 to 26 years;
(iii) between
the age of 27 to 45 years;
(iv) over the
age of 45 years; and
(c) what is
the town location of each of the 29 suicides, and how does this compare with
the previous year?
(2) How much
of the $13 million committed to suicide prevention has been spent to date —
(a) in
Bunbury;
(b) within
the Bunbury coronial jurisdiction; and
(c) in the
South West Region?
(3) In
relation to (2), can the minister provide details of the projects funded and
the funding allocated?
