The Western Australian Police Force advise:
1(a)-(c) Two full-time negotiators.
There are also currently 15 negotiators in the metropolitan area that maintain an on-call roster and are recalled to high risk incidents. There are also currently 47 first response negotiators in regional Western Australia who are recalled to high risk incidents.
1 (d)    Five metropolitan and two first response negotiators will be selected and trained in 2019.
2          Translator services and/or other officers (who are able to assist with a specific language) are engaged by negotiators as required.
