(1)-(4) I visited Port Hedland in both capacities. My visit included a meeting with the Deputy Mayor of the Town of Port Hedland during which we discussed local government issues. I participated in a range of other activities in Port Hedland yesterday, some of which involved my electorate and some of which were ministerial. I took the opportunity to be with my ministerial colleague Mr A.J. Carpenter for an education forum in Port Hedland. I also met with various senior officers of the Department of Education and Training to discuss with them a range of resource issues associated with the provision of education within the region. I got up at about 4.00 am, cleaned my teeth and went to the airport. I took a Qantas flight to Port Hedland and I returned on a Qantas flight. I went to bed rather tired; hence, I am now lacking both patience and tolerance. If Hon Norman Moore stopped telling lies about me and my performance as a minister, I would stop telling the truth about him. I will list the number of times the member has been to his electorate in the time that he has been a member. Would Hon Norman Moore like me to tell the House when he last went to Port Hedland? Hon Norman Moore: Tell me whatever you like. Hon TOM STEPHENS: The Leader of the Opposition cannot remember. Hon Norman Moore interjected. The PRESIDENT: Order, members!
