In relation to the Bringing Them Home Report (Report of the National Inquiry into the Separation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children from their Families) which made recommendations in 1997, including recommendations relating to the State Government -
(1) Has the current State Government/Minister reported to the Ministerial Council on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs on the State Government’s implementation of the Bringing Them Home Report?
(2) If yes to (1) -
(a) who, or which, agency prepared the report; and
(b) would the Minister for Indigenous Affairs table a copy of the report/s?
(3) If no to (1) -
(a) why not; and
(b) has the State Government/Minister reported to anyone else on the progress of the State Government implementation of the Bringing Them Home Report and if so, who?

(2) (a) The Department of Indigenous Affairs provided the State Government’s response on implementation of the Bringing Them Home Report to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission, who collated the National report. (b) Yes. (3) (a) Not applicable.
