(1) (a) All recurrent expenditure is included when calculating the cost-per-student total.
(b) Capital works expenditure is excluded from the cost-per-student total.
(2)(a-c) and (3)(a-c) The cost-per-student efficiency information is only calculated for primary and secondary students at a whole-of-Department level, as provided in the Department of Education's Annual Report.
