a)-b)
Fees for patient transfers are charged in line with the relevant St John WA (SJWA) pricing schedule. The fees charged will depend on a number of factors including the type of ambulance sub-centre (volunteer or hybrid), the type of transport, any concessions that may be applicable to the patient receiving the transport, the kilometres involved in the transport, and the geographical location of the transport. The patient transport fees currently applied were agreed at commencement of the current Ambulance Services Agreement and are adjusted each year in line with the relevant indexation settings applicable under the contract.
c) Providing a breakdown of this information as requested would require substantial analysis and would necessitate requesting further information from SJWA.
d) The patient transport fees currently applied were agreed at commencement of the current Ambulance Services Agreement and are adjusted each year in line with the relevant indexation settings applicable under the contract.
e)  The last time user fees were increased was on the 1 st of July 2025.
