1. SIAs are located throughout Western Australia. Native title rights and interests, and the existence of native title agreements, vary across and within each of the SIAs.

3. The Cook Government is negotiating native title agreements to activate the Boodarie and Maitland SIAs. The details of these negotiations are confidential to the parties.
4. Proposed development and access to areas within SIAs can be undertaken where legislative requirements are met and relevant approvals are in place, including under the Native Title Act 1993.
