(2) – (3) Spencer Road has been identified as a future strategic link for the transport of timber from the Denbarker area through to Albany Highway and the woodchip mill. Main Roads has been working closely with the Local Government to determine the upgrading needs for this road. The extent and timing of any future works is a matter currently being considered by the State Timber Industry Regional Evaluation Strategy (TIRES) group. Subject to the outcomes of this process, consideration can be given to allocating the required funds as part of a future budget process.
