(2) The Department of Housing and Works has sound processes in place to ensure that its tendering and contracting is carried out in an open and accountable manner that delivers best value for the State. While this initiative may involve innovative contracting approaches, these are being explored in consultation with industry, will be based on sound industry practices and will be approached in the same open and accountable manner.
