The Minister for Water has provided the following response — (1) Gnangara mound is a major source of public and private users of water in Perth, and plays a critical role in drought-proofing Perth for the future. The GSS is an example of cross-government coordination to address issues that have impact on a wide range of stakeholders. This strategy is still subject to considerable public consultation. The government will examine the range of issues, the recommendations and the funding requirements, and respond appropriately when it is finalised. (2) Not applicable.
